Continuing on the theme of weird things turning into other (weird) things...this chap is actually coming face to face with himself, as he sloughs off his old body...
and they can do this, because they have no internal skeleton, rather their skin is their skeleton and this is called an exoskeleton (a rigid external covering for the body in some invertebrate animals, especially arthropods}. Maybe ill do a prettier picture tomorrow, what do you think??
