LOOPER MOTH (Milionia basalis)

My next 4 days will be dedicated to this wonderful creature that is appearing a lot at the moment....it is of course, the lovely LOOPER MOTH (Milionia basalis) 

Another exception to the rule of only flying at night, this lovely moth is another day-flying moth.

Here is one, newly emerged, I watched as he climbed from the ground up to this perch and his wings unfurled.... more images this week...
