A wonderful chap called Shaun Martin with the help of the The TaiTamTuk Foundation (and other eco Groups) is setting up a wonderful initiative to help connect kids with nature.
This is the same kind of thing as the previous City Nature Challenge, with the fantastic iNaturalist App (download it now!), which turns us all into citizen scientists.

Hong Kong Inter-School City Nature Challenge
WHAT IS THE HKISCNC?
The HKISCNC is a 4 day competition for students and staff of Hong Kong secondary schools to find and log the most species, in and around their campus, all using the free app iNaturalist.
WHEN IS THE HKISCNC?
Competition Dates: Monday 5th November - Thursday 8th November
Identification Dates: Friday 9th November - Monday 12th November
