Tiny little fast moving blue banded bees. Dammit, they are very small and very fast...so an interesting challenge.

Several species belonging to the subgenera Zonamegilla and Notomegilla are referred to as 'blue-banded bees'

Seen here in Shing Mun, on an overcast day, so i have to go back and try again and get better bigger shots.

These were shot with a 70-200mm canon zoom lens. The middle shot i tried using a 26mm extension tube to get closer.
