as we saw yesterday, its mini toad time, and those pond/fishing spiders do love them for a meal...and it always astonishes me, the power of spiders. ..with my limited knowledge I can get this to Dolomedes spp. But I cannot confirm mizhoanus as a species (and nor can my spider expert friends), so we we will leave it at genus, and confirm the common name is Fishing Spider? I got really, really close for that full frame...without disturbing his/her meal....you can see the eye of the toadlet....nom nom...
