The other week I went to see my sister who lives in the New Forest in the UK, where I am currently stranded courtesy of the HK govt (no political diatribes, please...oh, ok, ok)
She took me to Keyhaven marshes on the south coast, where we saw some wonderful birds; so a few that crossover with HK, but these were shot in the UK last week. This first one is an oystercatcher - er, with a crab.
this is a Shelduck and its chick.
A black tailed godwit was also seen.
And a large grey heron, hiding away in what looks like breeding plummage.
A diatribe, in case you asked, is
a forceful and bitter verbal attack against someone or something. Bah humbug.
