Due to its red throat (of males) it was thought in the past that this lizard could suck blood out of human victims....
Now we know it does not! and it is much more commonly known in Hong Kong as the Changeable lizard, or elsewhere as the Common Garden Lizard.
The Changeable lizard is a much more apt name, as it does change colouration quite dramatically and quickly. Keep posted, and subscribe to our Facebook Post or website as I will do a full article on this ubiquitous lizard soon.
