Although some of our lovely black-eared kites stay in Hong Kong all year round, they are most often seen in greater numbers from October to March.
Here one fishing off sai kung, late last year. A great place to photograph them - and the occasional white bellied sea eagles - is on the main pier in Sai Kung.
