Going for a walk while in Colorado the other day - as you do - a nice day in early April, sun out, but still a lot of snow on the ground, and some great skiing. Then I look down and look what i see...
A cute little garter snake...and then just around the corner...
a whole bunch, with the larger female, intertwined. Quite a surprise, and the next day it was a blizzard again, with 5" of snow, so they all disappeared again.
Ill be back in Hong Kong on the 19th April, so will be picking up some more local species soon!
