Checkered Keelback - Xenochrophis piscator

This is an attractive, common, and harmless snake.

This snake loves lowland ponds and streams, and occasionally found in catchwaters hunting fish, frogs and tadpoles, and even the occasional toad.

A very good swimmer and can remain submerged for up to 20 minutes.
