Other mammals in the camera trap

Other mammals in the camera trap. It is always interesting to see what moves through the forest at night....Here a wild boar, also known as the wild swine, common wild pig, Eurasian wild pig, or simply wild pig.

A few rats also scurried through. We have 6 rat species in HK.

Unfortunately, by far the most common mammal was the domestic and/or feral cats that roam freely in most of these wild environments, competing for food, and killing our local wildlife.
