Here is a selection of dragonflies that I photographed one lunchtime whilst walking around a pond in Mai Po last week.

First, a close up of the Asian pintail, trumpet tail or grizzled pintail

Then we have what i believe to be the Scarlet skimmer.

And lastly, two photos showing the different colours of one species, the slender skimmer or green marsh hawk
