Winged beauties

I do not only have moths in the garden, my wife has planted a variety of suitable plants and flowers to attract these butterflies, and we have left a lot of our plot wild.

The lovely small tortoiseshell butterfly takes the sun.

The most colourful of our UK butterflies, and perhaps my fave, the Peacock.
