When i was in Thailand a couple of months ago my guide crawled down off the road then beckoned me to come have a look in a drainage pipe and take a photo - of these vampire bats...spooooky, or what? my flash did a good job of lighting these, with a nice big diffuser to get nice light and not disturb them too much as they rested.
Their actual name is the Lesser False Vampire bat, but that takes some of the glamour away, eh? Anyway, this one's name is Vlad.
