more lantern bugs....

more lantern bugs from Thailand....well, more planthoppers anyway....

First off is the lovely Litchi Lantern bug, so very similar to the ones we have in Hong Kong...

then we have the wonderful Dark-horned lanternfly (also from Thailand) Pyrops spinolae

here in close up....

And then Aphaena najas,....

....Aphaena is a genus of planthoppers in the sub-family Aphaeninae of Fulgoridae.
