I love Barbets....and I cannot lie....they are always so noisy, and colourful and interesting, and so hard to see and photograph.
The great Barbet pictured first here can be found - and normally heard first - in Hong Kong.
However, during my trip to Thailand I managed to find some other types of Barbet...and check back tomorrow too.
Time for a trip to the Kruger National Park to check out the barbets there ... the "punk" crested barbet has long been a fave of mine ...
