not a BPV in Hong Kong.......this photo was taken in the mountains of Kaeng krachen national park in Thailand.
this is Trimeresurus albolabris same as in Hong Kong, the white-lipped viper, a BPV in local parlance, tho a female, so no white line
The clarity of the image comes from a stack of 12 images using ambient light and a small light.
