this is one of those blue iridescent butterflies that we often see flying around...
Very difficult to pin down the exact species as there are so many lookalikes, with tiny differences. So I just call them Dontworrytoomuchus haveabeerus and that seems to keep the wife happy.....but not the butterfly nerds strangely enough. Even tho, I might add, there are no common name police with any authority. Anyway, I put the capital letter in the right place this time....phew.
And above is an artists rendition of this lovely creature.....actually done by my wife, from the photograph, whilst we are in Thailand for my rehabilitation - physical, not mental, I hasten to add. Or is it??
