my bulblus

The red-whiskered bulbul (Pycnonotus jocosus), or crested bulbul, is a ubiquitous and noisy bird of Hong Kong, and one of my favourites.

Sadly, there seem to be far fewer near where i live and on roof post-typhoon.

Here they are last year, feeding happily on the leaves nearby.
