"Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better". Albert Einstein.
Words to live by...and some more great quotes below.
This blog is an update for the future posts about Hong Kong....which will now be Monday, Wednesday and Friday (not daily). Then, as I am in the UK at the moment, I will add one blog a week about UK wildlife on every Saturday. This is because I will be starting a weekly blog in the UK about the animals that I see and photograph there, in conjunction with the Farnham Biodiversity Partnership (which is where I live in Surrey). This new site and blog is at www.wildcreaturesuk.org yes, another catchy name under the same brand. Other contact details remain the same. So you do not need to do anything, but just to let you know there will now be 4 posts a week, including one about UK wildlife.
Back to some pictures and quotes....
Here a pool in Tai Po Kau nature reserve reflects the overhanging trees.
“If you have men who will exclude any of God's creatures from the shelter of compassion and pity, you will have men who will deal likewise with their fellow men.” ~St. Francis of Assisi
“Man is rated the highest animal, at least among all animals who returned the questionnaire.” ~Robert Brault
“If all the beasts were gone, men would die from a great loneliness of spirit, for whatever happens to the beasts also happens to the man. All things are connected. Whatever befalls the Earth befalls the sons of the Earth.” ~Chief Seattle of the Suquamish Tribe, letter to President Franklin Pierce
