An early butterfly that I found a couple of weeks ago.. a new species for me to find...this is Arhopala centaurus, the centaur oakblue or dull oakblue.
This is a species of lycaenid or blue butterfly.
it was spectacular when it flew, or opened its wings, but otherwise was quite plain.
