The masked bird

The masked laughingthrush (Garrulax perspicillatus) is a species of laughingthrush found in Hong Kong.

They are often seen - and heard - noisily moving through forest or parks, in little groups, often

in small noisy flocks of seven. Its Chinese name [七姊妹 qī zǐ-mèi] means 'seven sisters'.
